Any plans to use php 5.3, 5.4 features in vanilla framework?

Namespaces, traits, closures, anonymous functions, call static magic method ...
Any plans to use (or maybe support some as optional) this features?

We really can't without raising the minimum server requirements. Tim and I would love to, but I don't see it in the cards any time soon.
