hi, there is a plugin example, so is there an application example ?

It's only for unterstand how create a page with a SQL query and display data...
all applications in download page have too many functions.

Hi, i try to create an application,

i do this step http://vanillaforums.org/docs/appquickstart (with correct php code who don't display, but in source code of this page we can see it)

I can enable my application but, i have page 404 not found, someone can see my code below ?

You homepage controller file is named wrong. It needs to be 'class.homepagecontroller.php' not 'homepage.php'.
