Horizonal Category list on index/home page (like VBulletin)?

Hi,
Can Vanilla be setup with a horizontal category list on the index/home page (like VBulletin)?

    Yes, it's an option in the Dashboard under "Homepage".

    PS: Every time a member says "like vBulletin" my blood pressure spikes. ;)

    OK,
    I looked in the Homepage setup and I'm feeling extra dumb. I have Display root categories as headings. So they only display horizontally if a member is logged in? There are three options overlaying each other graphically: Options, Mark read, Unfollow on the horizontal page view. Is that normal?
