The suggestion by @vrijvlinder is the least best solution.

Hacking the core is almost never the right way to go with Vanilla.

You have been presented with several other, more efficient ways to achieve your aim in previous answers.

If the help you have received isn't helping you, that is more a reflection on your understanding than of the help offered.

Changes like this belong in conf/locale.php. That's the ultimate override of phrases. Anything else you change in Vanilla will get overwritten during upgrades.

I guess I should have said , in case you find this, don't change the words here, add a new $Definition in your locale because changes you make here will revert when you upgrade.

$Definition['You are attempting to sign out of Vanilla. Are you sure you want to %s?'] = 'You are attempting to sign out of VrijVlinder. Are you sure you want to %s?.';
