Hi everyone. I'm wondering where I can edit the text at the bottom of emails sent to users?
So when a user receives an email with a followup answer to their question etc. I was hoping to add some default text at the bottom of the email.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Thank you, I've never edited definitions in the locale before so I'll study up on it, thanks.
It is very easy, just follow the instructions in any of the links I posted. You need to find the default definitions copy them and paste into your config/locale. Read up on it a bit and if you still need help let us know

Perfect thanks!
Hello! Hmm I updated 'definitions.php' to this:
$Definition['EmailFooter'] = '
If you would like to stop receiving these emails, or update those you do receive please log into your account, click your "username", on the right side of page click "e-mail subscriptions" and bam make the changes you want, thanks!';
But my email I just received said this at the footer only, did I do something wrong? Does it take time to register? Thanks!

Have a great day!
Welcome to the community!
Since the definition is for the email footer, it follows that your modified message would only be in the footer.
Am I confused?

Thanks for your comment and what I pasted was the footer of an email I received from forum "after" making the change, it still said "have a great day!" instead of the new message I'd added...hope that helps/makes sense? thx
