How to merge users logged in through different social networks

I abandoned the Social Login plugin which was giving me a problem I can't resolve. I installed the Facebook and Google Sign In plugins and they work perfectly.
The only problem is when I try to login with a Google account which has the same email as an already existing user logged in through Google.
The plugin correctly detects that the email address already exists and asks for a password. However, when you create the user connecting through social media, no password is created. This way I can't login, since the password field can't be left blank.

Any idea?

Vanilla uses an email address as the key for users. I don't think there is any way (besides manually) to merge users that were registered with a social login plugin.
