[Solved] How to show categories in sidebar
ragdoll
✭
I think that vanilla should have a quicker way to reach the all categories page by default. This is the usual page all people see in other forum platforms.
I tried a couple of plugins that should show the category list as a drop down in the navigation but they didn't work.
Is there a quick way to show categories in the sidebar?

I thought categories in the side panel was Vanilla default behaviour.
This is what I do on my site: http://www.whu606.com/discussions
where the Categories are available as a 'pop down' link.
Is that the sort of thing you mean?
Yes, I don't have them on my forum http://www.fotocomefare.com/forum-fotografia

There is an option in your dashboard to not show a list of categories in the panel. You can find it under Categories -> Category Page Layout -> Do not display the categories in the side panel.

Yes, I just cam back to the forum to tell it. I don't know why it was ticked.
Problem solved, sorry for the silly question.
