Change the Language per User

Greetings,
i would like to change the language for each user by settings or if he visits the page for the first time by the url or Browser Language.
I searched a lot and found some poor workarrounds and plugins.
The first was this http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/23580/howto-more-languages-for-your-vanilla#latest
The Problem is on this that there are multiple forums per time on the board,- that could be a big problem in the future if i have to change some files or upgrade them.
The next was the Plugin multilang class.multilingual.plugin.php. This script wont work in the actuall vanilla version.
Have someone found a good Plugin to change the language?

Greetings hgtonight,
The Version is Version 2.0.18.8
The Multilang Plugin was found on https://github.com/vanillaforums/Addons/blob/master/plugins/Multilingual/class.multilingual.plugin.php
You need to copy the entire Multilingual folder into your
/plugins
folder. Then you need to enable it through your plugins dashboard (
