Minisweeper is correct I believe lukiss, these characters: å ä ö can be achieved in HTML by using these codes...

    å ä ö
I simply typed them into GoLive and it converted them for me but I'm sure you can find a
translation table somewhere with a succinct
    Google search. try this
  • lukiss, I've converted the translation to utf-8 and added translation for about 30 extensions. I haven't gotten any reply from bjrn yet, but if you want I can e-mail you the files I got in their current state. If you serve the pages with the correct charset, you shouldn't need to use the html equivalent entities.

tests it too. google! /edit. nothing. just boring white-vanila yellow-black world
  • I sense the beginning of "Vanilla Sweden" in this thread!
  • Hi! Sorry guys, I am on vacation, and won't be back for a few weeks. I thought I had the translation as UTF-8 already... oh well, anyway, won't be able to fix anything until I get home.
  • Hi!

There are several typos in this, and some things are not formatted in a standard Swedish way (as an example, Some Things Are Capitalized This Way, which is the standard in English for headers etc, but not in Swedish).

There are also some blatant mistakes and bad wording in a few places. If you want to, I can go through the file and revise the translation, but I don't currently have a Vanilla forum to upload and test it against, so... it will be hard for me to test it and make sure I do everything properly. But I can give it a try by comparing to the English version, and then send it to Björn. How's that?
  • Feel free to give it a try.
