  • Hi, I'm using spell check with FCkeditor extention and it stopped working. With FCKeditor extension enabled it finds no misspellings, without FCKeditor enabled, it works just fine. Any ideas on making these two extensions compatible?

The spell checker look into the textarea for the text, but with FCKeditor on, the text to check is in an iframe. You need to use the FCKeditor command to get the text and update it. A fix has been found for the Quote extension that had the same problem.
  • I'm not sure I understood your last comment: "The fix has found for the Quote extension"
  • Sorry, I should read what I wrote before clic the button: I just edited it: "A fix has been found for the Quote extension that had the same problem".
  • is this thing officially working or no I can't patch it for fckeditor unless i know that it works.
  • Although I use the spell checker extension, now that I've installed FF 2.0, I may not need it. I'm sure that I'm not telling you something you already don't know when I say that the spell checking feature of FF is great. It spell checks automatically like a word processor. You can just right click on the underlined red words to choose a correction or not.
  • hi guys. i am getting an error when i try to use this extension.. a popup box "An error was encountered on the server" any ideas? thanks in advance bm
  • I am having the same problem as blizeH was/is. I have read all the posts and docs I can get my eyes on. When I press spell check it quickly tells me there are no errors no matter what I type into the text box. Anyone have some fresh ideas for me?
  • I am having the same proble blizeH was originaly having. I just can't seem to fix the problem, even after intentionaly mistyping words such as "teh" and "wroked"...
