How to show live search results?
rolo
New
When I search something in vanilla.org community search box I see live search results.
Can you tell me which addon is that?
Thanks!

AFAIK, there is no live search capabilities built in to sphinx search. There is a search log.
You could write some javacript to perform live searching, but that might be taxing on your server.

I think it doesn´t have live results :-(
Another addon I need is a "search stats" to have a historical database of successful & unsuccessful word search results...
Anyone knows?

Seriously if you had the resources to live search you probably wouldn't be asking this question, you would already know how to do this or hired a team. Just like streaming sites, are not amateur operations.
Not all ideas are good ones. Sometimes a "Christmas Tree" approach to web development isn't going please your users, even if they sound good to them on paper.
grep is your friend.
