For future reference, released versions of Vanilla can be found here: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/vanilla-core
You can select the version you want in the latest versions box on the right hand side.

yeah I already checked not there, its ok though I found a zipped copy on my drive.

Sorry RJ I did not see your link, Many thanks guys I was looking for 2.1b. Whats your take on version 2.1b? Am I going to run into a trouble?
You're gonna find bugs and maybe someone has already reported them on github or you could/should do that. 2.1b is not the stable release but it is the future of Vanilla and it is already more than just usable.
2.0.18.8 is the stable release. If you want to be on the safe side, you should use that release.
