How to restrict users from voting more than once in the Voting Plugin?

Since I want to make a Q&A site like stackoverflow, I just installed Vanilla Forums. I also installed the Q&A and the Voting plugin. The Voting plugin, makes it possible for me to vote my own question up or down multiple times (I can simply upvote my own question to +200), which kind of defeats the purpose of the voting.
Does anybody know how I can disable the functionality of multiple up or down votes? Any tips are welcome!

I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
I believe the voting plugin works as expected when not on a super user account. Create a test account with standard permissions and try voting multiple times as them.
