Hi guys regarding:
b) If you want to use a Top Level Domain (like yourforum.com), create an A Record for your domain, using the IP Address:
I'm having a lot of problems for some reason. My web host is saying I need to setup a 301 redirect.
I'm adding the vanilla forum ip address to my "a record" and for the webhost I'm adding "www" before ".mydomainname.com"
In terms of domain mapping the folder on my webhost is empty.
PS: I should mention my forum is presently being hosted by vanilla, the paid version at the .com address for vanilla.
Any help would be great or if I can explain further.
