Updating forums to 2.0.18.10 : Call to undefined function smarty_core_assemble_plugin_filepath

When I try to update my forums via "www.yourforum.com/utility/update" I get this error.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function smarty_core_assemble_plugin_filepath() in /*/forums/library/vendors/Smarty-2.6.25/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1388

You need to delete all the .ini files from your
/cachefolder and try again.Search first

I did. I even deleted the whole directory and it still gives me the error.
Also, when I delete those files and run the update. It gives me the error but it does regenerate the *.ini files.
I think you have a partial upload. Try uploading the core files again.
