A user named "System"
Sound like a character from "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey".
I did the trial at Vanillaforums.com, and then migrated the forum to my own host.
Now I see that there is a user on my forum with the Username: "System", and the Email: system@vanillaforums.com
Who is this? What happens if I delete this user?

The System user is created by Vanilla and is used as the default user for some features and plugins.
Deleting it won't do anything as it will get recreated. Read this discussion to find out more: http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/24669/can-i-delete-user-system

I believe the system account was created on the hosted version and imported as a normal user in your version.
Backup your DB, delete the system accounts, and see what happens. It should just regenerate 1 system account.

You shouldn't delete him. Instead you should give him a soul: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/shwaipbot-plugin
Thanks folks.
Yes, Pregrine. I did search for several versions of my question, and no relevant topics came up that answered my question. Perhaps the wording of my search was not specific enough, or too specific.
Here is another question that was not answered in any of the other threads.
"Why is it that the system which is hosted on my server, has an email that appears to be located in Dallas."
I'm not intending to be rude, Peregrine. I posted this question last night. Then checked the email this morning as soon as I finished digging my way back to work.
The other thing is that I have two users named System, both with the same email Address.

Do what @hgtonight said and kick both of them. There should only be one System-Zombie.
