If registration does not check email on the uniqueness

  • If I recall correctly, unique email addresses are required by default.

    I don't know what the question is. but this config statement has been mentioned before.

    $Configuration['Garden']['Registration']['EmailUnique'] = FALSE;  
    $Configuration['Garden']['Registration']['EmailUnique'] = TRUE;
    

    to allow duplicate emails. Yes, Vanilla allows you to recycle names of deleted accounts. `

    I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
