Hello I am just starting my forum and for the life of me I can not get the google login to work. I have searched for solutions, tried solutions but still no luck. I have OpenID enabled and that works fine, it is just google that won't work. To see what I mean you can check it out on my site if you try to log in with google. sincethewheel.com

Version 1.0 the one that came with the install of vanilla 2.1b, but I overwrited the php with an updated version from github and it still didn't work.
Still looking for a solution if anyone can help. Just ask if you need more details.
Which version of OpenID are you running? Your previous answer is ambiguous.

Version 1.0 but I have also tried the most up to date version. Not sure it is a problem with OpenID, the result is the same for multiple versions I have tried.
Is this the known issue mentioned in these threads?
It appears it's been fixed in master, but not in 2.0. In the first link there, you will see comments from me pointing to individual commits - no developer has confirmed that back-porting those to 2.0 is sufficient to fix the issue, and they don't patch clean.
Cheers,
Dave.
