You can right click on any element on a webpage and select inspect element. Your DOM explorer should open up and show you all the CSS rules associated with the element.

Copy the pertinent styles over to your stylesheet.

Yes, even the crystal ball need more than that to guess why it does not work.

You can also download one of my themes which has the user image, YellowMobile and Mobile and also tiny embed friendly and purple haze embed friendly has the user photo instead of the text name.

Look at how it is done and copy it.
