I get this message to varying degrees. I reset my comment length to 10,000 and my post is only 215 words. I tried using the paste T button, to no avail. I am using Firefox on a PC.

characters are single letters and symbols, you need more than 10000

Make it 30000 and see what happens

Try pasting into a plain-text editor like Notepad or Text Editor, then copy from there. That'll strip out any hidden formatting / bad markup that can trip up cleditor.

That helped Lincoln, thank you...any idea why I would not be able to paste from Word? Seems like it would be a common thing.

Because the formatting has html code which adds to the count quite a bit. When you paste it in the rich text editor you only see how it looks and not the code that came with it.

You can paste it in a text editor like cleditor and the see the html and remove it. Or use the text editor to remove it.

@sandymctyre Because cleditor is so hopelessly broken (for things like that) we're replacing it for 2.1.

vrijvlinder loves to support features, especially one where each user has a unique situation or problem, that requires unique changes for each situations and hours of follow-up, for each situation. If the conversation lingers on for 50-70 comments on trying to explain how to solve, oh my that is icing to an already difficult situation.
