I am trying to learn the software and when I go to http://forum.stsci.edu/settings/tutorials/category-management-and-advanced-settings and when I click on any of the tutorials the video does not play (I am using Firefox, in Chrome I get a message that says, "This video can't be played with your current setup" - not sure what that means).
Is this a temporary problem or is there a way to watch the tutorials?
Thanks -
george

Seems to be a vimeo problem:

I think it has to do with the html5 tags.
Add this to your browser as an add-on and see if it works

Also the alt text img does not show in Safari. All you see is white blocks . I fixed this by removing them all together and just leaving the links...

hgtonight - When I click the Play button I get "More from Vanilla Forums" with three links to other videos. When I click on them I am taken to another page where I see the text "SorryThere was an issue with playback."

vrijvlinder - I added the HTML5 add-on to Firefox but am having the same problem.

This is an issue with your environment not being able to play the video.
The links themselves work just fine.
Sorry.

What type of environment do I need to see the videos? I am on a standard Windows 7 machine?

You need to make sure you have flash enabled or update your adobe flash
plugin. Download shockwave flash plugin too.
also what you could do is possibly change the way it is embedded and use the legacy iframe. in the dashboard views for the video.
http://developer.vimeo.com/player/embedding
Look at your browser plugins to see if you have all the plugins required for media.
