    any news on vanillin and making vanilla work on mobile browsers?

    no I mean a theme for vanilla that works on mobile browsers (as opposed to mobile devices that can access normal websites.)

    such as http://www.google.com/m/
    It's "optimized" for mobile browsers.

    Using the iPhone simulator application, this forum came up really well as did mine.

    But I see what you mean now.

    Would there be a manual re-direction or an automatic one?

    It should be automatic, I found what changes in the user-agent for mobile browsers

    wmlbrowser for firefox adds this to your browser's header:
    HTTP_ACCEPT:text/vnd.wap.wml;q=0.6

    that may be helpful?
