embed.js error
mitchditch
New
Hi all
I have installed vanilla and it works fine direct, but when I embed using the code provided in the dashboard, I get an error:
Invalid argument
embed.js
Code:0
Line: 280
Char:10
The main issue is in ie, where it hangs. Seems fine in FF/Chrome/Safari.
Seems like a few people have had the same error, but have found no hacks/remedies yet.

Can't believe no one else has this issue.
What version of Vanilla are you using?
Which embed.js are you using?

Th version is 2.1.1
The css is bodged, but the error occurs with the base theme.
I am not seeing this issue in IE8, IE9, IE10 or in IE10 compatibility mode.
The site didn't load in IE7.
What code are you using to embed?

I'm using the embed code via the admin panel.
Just to clarify, you had no errors from > http://www.putneysociety.org.uk/members-debug-ie.html
Correct.
Mind pasting the exact code you are using?

Sorry my bad, the error occurs not on load, but when the forum is navigated.
Attached is said error.
Here is the embed code that is in the content field.
Seems like code tags didn't work. Here is the code as a screenshot.
I can't seem to reproduce this issue.
Sorry.
