Import Problems
user122

Hi there -
I used the vanilla porter to generate a .txt file that has all of my data in it... Whenever I go to import within VanillaForums it just gets stuck on 'Define Tables' and it doesn't move.. I left it there probably for 30 minutes, and the import file size is only 35kb..
Anyone else have this problem? Were you able to resolve it??

what type of forum did you export from?
what is your version number of php - use phpinfo().
are you using https://github.com/vanilla/porter/archive/master.zip
what version of vanilla are you using? 2.1.3?
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
Vanilla version 2.1.3, used the importer from the link that you gave. Also - exported from vBulletin5 (had to take out the 'password' portion of the user array.) PHP Version 5.4.32.
Also - Time Spent on Import is stuck at 0:00.35. That's the highest that it will go. At that point it's also giving me an error of 'The user table was not in the import file.' This only happens whenever I import and then leave the page and come back.

maybe it has to do with : >had to take out the 'password' portion of the user array.)
sounds like a question for the porter experts linc and x00
