Help in arranging categories

i am building a forum and i want to arrange my category in this way. When one clicks the category hardware, it will open a page having this category in feed arranges and it follows motherboard,graphics and display, storage. please i need help urgently

Just go to the dashboard and rearrange the categories how you like them. Drag them to the desired position.

You can use Nested Categories for your purpose.

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve. Expand upon it or show a screenshot of the desired behavior?

you don't get me on this. the thing is i want to create a hardware category that has child categories
i want a situation whereby when one click the hardware category he will be able so see a list of the conversation of the child category

you are asking two different questions at the same time that conflict.

the layout for http://vanillaforums.org/categories/discussions is mixed layout.

when you say that do you mean this or that , by that I mean this - what I said before already this.
