I receive notification of my own forum posts

Hi,

Is there any way to stop receiving notifications of my own forum posts? Every time I comment on a post, I get an email. Since I am the main one administering the forum and providing user support, that means I get a LOT of annoying emails all the time. :) Is there any way to disable that?

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan Neve

Edit your notification preferences, in your profile.

You don't need to keep posting your site address in your questions. Please only do so if a visit would help to solve the issue.

Sorry about the site address, I just usually use it as a signature.

My notifications include "Notify me when people comment on a discussion" and "Notify me when people comment on my discussions". If I remove those, I don't get notifications for my own posts, but neither do I get notifications when someone else posts, so that's even worse. There are no options to exclude notifications about my own comments.

You should never be notified about your own activity, unless it causes other activity (e.g. you post and get a 25 comment badge).

I would start the process of moving to 2.1 since 2.0 support is being dropped after Dec 2014. I also believe this will fix your issue.

Ok, thanks, I guess I'll upgrade to 2.1 then and we'll see how it goes.
