How to bookmark and getting notified for new posts/discussion in a category

Using version 2.1.5

I found some discussions about getting a notification for a new posts by bookmarking a discussion.

Obviously I'm over looking or just plain stupid to figure out where and how to bookmark a whole category and get notified for new post or discussion in a category by a member of the forum.

    If you have the 'Garden.AdvancedNotifications.Allow' permission you will have more notification preferences than usual and you can select a category to be notified of.

    1. Give your role the permission
    2. Visit your profile notification preferences
    3. Profit.
