Sorry if this has been discussed. Has anyone seen this? Any add-ons or fixes?
Thanks!

@kennykane Have you looked at stopforumspam.com, it may be reported there? Consider these three plugins to use if you are not yet using them:
akismet: great for stopping spammers
stopforumspam: review settings to tighten it up. This blog post cover that.
report spam: report spam to stop forum spam. The more people who use it the more we protect one another.
Hey @Adrian
Thanks for the links. I actually have all of those things. The interesting thing about this particular spam is they're not outwardly posting, just giving themselves a status. Is there to disable them from posting on their profile until they get 5 posts under their belt or something?
@kennykane, you mean on the activity form on the profile page? It's not something possible out of the box.
Here are some ideas:
You can try @peregrine solution: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/preventweblinks-plugin
I don't think it is in Yaga, but maybe you can sponsor @hgtonight to look at profile/link posting as a feature in Ranks (for open source).
Normally when I tighten up stop forum spam I killed these off. If it's just one off spam, maybe consider a challenge question like (once again from @peregrine ) http://vanillaforums.org/addon/addregistrationquestion-plugin
You could remove their ability to post activities via the ranks system in Yaga.
Just require 5 posts and give them the new role/permission.

Thanks for all the insight @Adrian @hgtonight.
Going to give the prevent weblinks a shot.
