Google Code is being retired; moved Vanilla 1

Google announced it is turning off Google Code in 10 months.

As such, we have imported the SVN repo of Vanilla 1 to our GitHub account so that it can live on. I updated the README accordingly, and copied over the "upgrading" wiki page into a new Markdown file. I also emailed the last maintainers on record to alert them to the move.
