SSO
Hello!
I've been reading about jsConnect, and I understand the goal of that is to enable Vanilla Forums users to log in using an account on an authorised system (such as a wordpress blog).
I already have a system where my users' accounts are stored by Vanilla.
How could I approach the task of adding Vanilla as an authentication mechanism for another system? (Using Vanilla's user account system to authenticate with everything, not the other system's). I'm hoping to achieve this with Concrete5, but am unsure about where to begin.
Presently using Vanilla 2.1.8 and Concrete5 5.7.
I want Vanilla to be the 'Logon authority'.
Since posting this, I've found this discussion which is similar: http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/29650/how-to-use-vanillas-forum-accounts-in-my-own-site#latest however I do not understand it very well.
I hope that makes some sense
Thank you

Welcome to the community!
Concrete 5 forums would be the best place to ask as they should understand what needs to be done on Concrete's side to use another "Logon Authority".
I am happy to help you with implementation details on Vanilla's side, but I have no idea what needs to be implemented.
