FeedDiscussions Not Displaying Feeds In Forum Discussion
alishachris
New
Hello Everyone.
I download feeddiscussion for my vanilla version 2.1.9 and installed it. I have activated it on my dashboard and added some feeds on it.
It worked for the first feed post but after that, it has refused to post any feeds on discussion, even though it reported that it is updated.
I have tried cron job and it still doesn't work. i also tried magpiefeeds and still the same thing.
Can anyone help me here?

@vrijvlinder i installed magpiefeeds and did everything, it still doesn't post
Try this feed which I know works because It just posted 200 discussions on my forum where I tested this plugin.

Not sure what everything means, but it should post if it is a good feed as it does in my forum.

worked like a charm. thank VJ.
Please i last thing, i want to remove the 'vanilla forum' footer link on my mobile view. any help? i have successfully removed it on my full page view but it keeps re-occuring on my mobile view.
can you help me solve this?
i used different themes for PC and mobile views by the way.
Removing the footer will break your forum. Use another theme. Do not edit the default theme or you will break your forum.

can you recommend any mobile theme that does not have the footer? i was actually using your 'glass mobile' template.
@vrijvlinder
You can remove the branding of the footer by editing the master template file. When @vrijvlinder says removing the footer will break your forum, she is referring to the Foot asset. This asset contains no branding by default but houses the definitions used by JS to make a slick interface.

To remove or edit the Branding replace this
with this in the mobile theme default.master.php
<?php $this->RenderAsset('Foot');?>
