How to i solve the 'Something has gone wrong' error on vanilla?

anytime i am deleting a discussion i get a 404 error displaying this message

Something has gone wrong.

We've run into a problem and are unable to handle this request right now.
Please check back in a little while.

How do i solve this issue, because i have checked out threads here and doesn't help.

Disable all the plugins you have installed and see if error goes away. Then enable one by one until the error returns so you can find the cause.

what gave you the idea that it was a 404 error ?

please google error 404 and compare your message with the one for 404.

when i want to delete a post it gives me the 404 error. here is the screenshot

That is not an error 404 , that looks more like a 500 ... Try searching "Something has gone wrong" in the search bar here.

i did none was helping. because the problem occurs when i want to delete a discussion

i had this error when i turned the debugging mode on

It look like The Smarty folder and the compile folder are missing from the cache folder.

Create a new folder and call it Smarty

Create another new folder and call it compile and put it it inside the Smarty folder

Put the Smarty folder inside the cache folder

worked all right but i still get an error when i delete a discussion

delete the .ini files from the cache makes sure to not delete the Smarty folder again..

found the error it was thankful people plugin. i guess i need to download a fresh copy

Can someone @hgtonight change the title of this to "Something has gone wrong Error " , since this has nothing to do with a 404...
