Is there a way to authenticate Owncloud with Vanillaforums users?

Hi

I am thinking of setting up an Owncloud instance for my small community.
Is there a way to authenticate Owncloud (logging in) seamlessly with the Vanillaforums usernames?

I understand this is no small feat, but maybe someone will guide me on my path.

I think that question could better be answered by someone who knows ownCloud. But I found this

POST http://admin:secret@example.com/ocs/v1.php/cloud/users -d userid="Frank" -d password="frankspassword"
Creates the user Frank with password frankspassword

That could be done via a plugin directly after a user has been created...

Oh, but it wouldn't solve your problem of authentication, only help in creating the same users...
