Set single category as homepage? [Now with added answer!]

~~Hello! This seems like a dumb question but is there a way to pick 1 category page and make it the homepage?

For example, making www.myforum.com/categories/general -> www.myforum.com

I thought routes were the answer but I don't know why it isn't working.

Route: DefaultController
Target: /category/general
Type: Internal

Nevermind got it, the correct target was "category/general" without the initial slash. Sorry lol
