Porting and Import

Right I have used the Porter to port mybb that's done

I went to import search for the file I got from using the vanilla2export.php which have me my .txt.gz file then I went to import and started it.
it has been 3 hours and still just getting process then the .. as its loading still at the top is Data file directory (/*****/*****/public_html/vanilla/uploads/import/import) is not writable should I have that? and using the lastest porter and vanilla

Yes, your /uploads file must be writable.

I cannot offer any real help with the porter since I do not know anything about it. @Linc is the one who knows best.

The directory not being writable would stop it from importing, yes.
