Looking for Members Classified Ads solution

Hi all, I'm looking for a way to add to Vanilla 2.3 forum a Members Classified Ads section.
Basically, the request is to have a special category where new discussion have some mandatory fields to be filled in (i.e. product, brand, model, price and so on), a different view of the post (i.e. a view as NillaBlog might be fine), a hallmark in the main strip of the discussions. This is the minimum request, but other features could be added if possible.
So, is there someone who can help me?

You can take a look at this plugin: https://open.vanillaforums.com/addon/discussionextender-plugin

It allows you to add custom fields, but I think you cannot choose them to appear in one category only.

Thank you RJ. This is a good base to work but is necessary for me to appear in one category only.
Maybe @hgtonight can refine the plugin with the choice of the category? I could be a sponsor

You could create a new view type for the discussion controller that is only set on a single category.
