Once you visit the forums directory on a browser, this happens:
Not Found
The requested URL /forums/dashboard/setup was not found on this server.

How did you install this software ? Did you use a click installer or just upload the files into a directory ?
You need to go through the setup process. For that to work, you need to already have a database to work for the software.
I have had no issues installing this software in at least 10 domains ... you need to follow the guide.

I think the problem is related to the missing of
.htaccessfile. Check if that file was uploaded.@nikoskip

That was the last link you gave of where the file is and now it works. You can see the php info.
