I will add I followed instructions of deleting the vanilla /applications/vanilla/controllers/class.settingscontroller.php
and followed the instructions
It is also saying Im missing an htcaccess file but I am not
Its no longer saying Im missing the htcaccess file
But everytime I try to log in with my credentials it takes a few mins to load but takes me to the 405 page
Would it be best just to delete every file and start fresh?
I tried to go back to 2.3 and im getting that error code
Okay
got 2.3 to work again]
but anytime I replace the files with 2.5 stuff it gives me a "something has gone wrong" screen
Edit
Its giving me something has gone wrong, I cant even access the dashboard
I tried dragging files and overriding/replacing, I even tried deleting files and replacing with the 2.5 files
Nothing is working
I cannot pin point which file is causing the issue
Ill stick with 2.3 until someone can help
I love nginx but it can be a pain to administer and troubleshoot. Can you post the configuration for your website?
How do I find the configuration?
bump?
Ok
I tried again
followed it to a T
and now I get the "Something has gone wrong" page
It lets me access the dashboard
But not my forum
OKAY
I got it
It was some plugins
The Hot Threads and Tagging Enhanced are not working
Whenever enabled it takes me to the something has gone wrong page
