Can't get Recaptcha to Work

Hi, I'm new to Vanilla. I just installed V2.6.4 and am trying to configure basic user registration. I created a recaptcha V3 config for my domain. I copied the recaptcha Site Key into the Vanilla Public Key. I copied the recaptcha Secret Key into the vanilla Private Key. I have checked the recaptcha domain correctly matches my site domain with no http or https as this seems to throw an error). When a user tries to register, the recaptcha message is
"Error for Site Owner. Invalid Key Type".

Can anyone help me with this please?

    Vanilla 2.6 uses recaptcha v2, so you'll need one of those keys.

    I use Vanilla 2.8.3 does this platform still uses recaptcha v2 or is it upgraded to v3.

    I use Vanilla V3, this has been showing the same error, ReCaptcha not working. What to do?

    I've recaptcha v2 on a self hosted vanilla 2.8.3 and everything works fine. You could retry to create recaptcha key creating another project
