Heads up: Here comes Vanilla 3.0

We announced a move to semantic versioning this year and it begins... now!

We plan to release Vanilla 3.0 next week. It will primarily contain:

  • New Rich Editor functionality and many fixes.
  • Improvements to the Keystone theme.
  • Google SSO (not Google Plus).
  • Non-critical, non-high-severity security patches.

Full release notes will be made available at the time of release.

    The breaking change in the release is the new PHP 7.1 requirement and removal a few long-deprecated methods.
