    I don't think Adobe bought Macromedia for piddly Fireworks, I'm sure Dreamweaver might've come into the equation somewhere.
    No designer I know uses anything but Photoshop. ImageReady is only useful for quick animated GIFs. Yeah some clients still ask for them.

  • fireworks is great. It would be a shame to lose it... be far better to see Imageworks or Fireready ;o)
  • Paint.net is nice (especially v 3.0) but still no Photoshop...
