Stash: By that logic, if someone wanted to bump their extension to the top of the list, they could always just change their version number to something and then change it back to what it was.
I'm honestly not concerned about abuse. I figure people just want to help others with their extension - they don't want to shove it down their throats. But maybe that's naive of me.
Either way, I think you're right that it should only be updated if the version changes or a new file is uploaded... I'll make that happen now.
Yeah, I realised they could abuse it like that just after I posted, but they're less likely too as it would end up looking silly and really piss people off using their extensions as they'd constantly be being told to update :P
I also agree that most extension authors just want to help people, but I'm still glad you made the change as there's always at least one arsehole out there
Comment on the addon pages are not editable. I have to now find the discussion in the main forum and edit it there very annoying. How about issue solved feature. If an issue on the support thread is solved, I can click a link and have a text displayed "This issue has been solved" So other people reading it and having problem will know that the problem is solved. It should be similar to the Thank you extension. which u said u would add . :P
Stash it looks like u fit the bill of one. the description page is way tooo detailed. All u need is tell people what it does. If they like it then they can go ahead and read the readme.txt for further instructions.
I like the fact that u have clearly listed the dependencies
actually, i would beg to differ, i reckon that that description is pretty good. Although i think that the installation information at the bottom of the page should be instead clearly linked somewhere else on the page to the video tutorials. Otherwise it's excellent that you have clearly stated dependencies, given another screen shot and explained carefully what it's all about
Tbh I agree with Vincent about stash's description - particularly the dependencies bit. Maybe that should be a feature of the addons site, Mark, to make sure they get listed? There are a growing number of extensions which rely on others..
May I add one thing? When viewing an add-on's discussion, the thing which shows where the discussion is in just states the add-on's title. Shouldn't it be 'Add-ons: Forced BBCode' rather than 'Forced BBCode', for example?
Sorry for being so picky and thanks for this great update!

Also same problem with the Recent Add-ons page...

Where are the Safari pros? Anyone care to shed some light? Is that an easy fix or a hard one? I get the feeling it would be a one-line fix.
