Well, if you haven't already, you should upgrade to 1.1.2. There are currently no reported bugs in that version of Vanilla and it is available now at getvanilla.com.
Are you using a custom language file, or are you using all of the source files from Vanilla 1.1.2? What extensions do you have installed? Have you tried disabling them to see if the problem still occurs?
I have this problem as well, but I am not using any custom language files (just the default english). I just upgraded to 1.1.2 yesterday. Any tips on what to do? All the stuff I've just read above is a bit confusing to me. im also using the default theme, tho with some custom css

And by the way I solved also some other minor things.
What a great feeling, when after long searching and asking the result just pops out, and you think:
"Ohm, of course!"

language file and the new version 1.1.2
After changing the language file everything works great.
sorry to keep bumping this, but this is a pretty major glitch for me and I cant figure out a solution.
