    interestingly Drupal Issue tracker doesn't have tickets at all.

    Well, I've implemented incremental ticket numbers starting at 1 for each project. I'll display them as #1.001 for Project 1, #2.001 for Project 2, etc. Ofcourse it's just a display thing, so you can change it yourself if you don't like it.

    Flyspray is good/simpe, but not ready for prime time - almost though. FogBugz (pay) has forums integrated with bug tracking. You can create a bug from any post, which prevents the bug tracking pool from getting too big (only admins can create/edit/resolve bugs), but anyone can post to the forum, so anyone can suggest bugs.

    I suggest you guys invested time into Edgewall Trac integration instead of reinventing from the start...

    Trac requires python and and a few other things to run. I think he was looking for a simple php/mysql (?) based issue tracker.

    Another question:

    I'm adding the Issue form to the Panel, instead of integrating it into the Discussion/Comment form. But I want to make a nice "assigned to" user-selection box. Any ideas?

    can you maybe use whisper functionality for it? just replace it with assign to and only let admins whisper and only on first comment? i donnu. I think the autocomplete is pretty sweet.. anyways dont that admin icon look suspiciously like a ninja I know. :P

    Haha, I love ninja's Mr Do ;) But anywayz... I did use the whisper-user-box, but in the end I didn't like it. There aren't hundreds of users on a project, so some kind of drop-down should suffice. I'm looking into several drop-down menu scripts, as I want to show a drop-down with all users (with icon) on the project which you can choose from.

    I just found this great forum engine...tried several others but this is the best...IF there would be a bug/issue tracker feature... :)
    So, Mr. Jazzman, your solution going to be very usefull, since it is a very simple tracker, and that is exactly most people wants...
    Please keep developing your addon!

    He probably got distracted and moved on. We will be trying out Trac for now. It seems promising.
