Mailing-list software?

Lussumo, What do you think about making a mailing-list manager or whatever? I'm looking for something as beautiful and amazing as Vanilla, but for starting a simple mailing list for my band. Does a thing exist? Does anyone else want something like this? Automatic subscribe/unsubscribe, web interface, etc. I would LOVE it…
