A few theming/styling questions

  • Im havin some issues with styles. In settings, I've changed the defualt style to Clockwork. As the Admin, it doesnt change, it stays default Vanilla style. If I log out it shows up as Clockwork. If I create a new user and sign in, it is default Vanilla. So users not registered or logged in see Clockwork. But anyone that joins, or logs in gets the Vanilla style, unless they change it in their personal settings to Clockwork. This is a brand new Vanilla install (like 2 minutes ago) with no extensions enabled. If I enable the Custom Styles Extension and add the Clockwork style, I get the same results as if I did not enable the extension... So enabled, disabled, no difference. If I go into PHPMyAdmin and select LUM_Style and edit the StyleID... changing default vanilla from 1 to 2 and clockwork from 2 to 1. Then everyone gets to see clockwork, whether they are logged in or not.
  • Yep, I had this too. I had someone email me because he couldn't get my theme to install on his admin account. I then set-up a new forum yesterday, and had the same issue. I solved it my deleting the default style, changing the name of my style to vanilla. Hardly pretty.
  • hmm, i'm pretty sure i got round this when i set my vanilla forum up but i'm not sure how i did it. I dont remember it being quite as easy as it should have been, certainly. Is it on the bug report?
  • Didnt see it. Wasnt sure if I was the only one either.
  • Hi, don't know wether i m posting in the appropriate topic, anyway i hope you can help me with this issue. I can t seem to be able to change default style in 0.9.2 vanilla. I created a new one through the administration panel, and then copied contents of vanilla skin dir in another dir called after my new style, but it doesn t work ?!? Any hint ?
