[Solved] Novice Question

I am trying out Vanilla as a possible forum addition to my website and have a "novice" question:

Is there an add-on, application, or setting that creates a forum comment box similar to the one here? (i.e. buttons for text, links, etc.)

My readers won't have a clue how to insert even basic html commands into their messages.

    Howdy Mike, we're currently testing the 'ButtonBar' plugin which is what you see here. We're still working out a few bugs but it'll be available soon.
