How do you set Discussions layout in 2.0?

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Our Discussions layout in 2.0 looks dreadfully simplistic with the default Theme. I checked out the SaaS version running 2.1 and the default Theme provides more details. Is there an easy way to get that layout in 2.0? Or is that custom PHP development. See attached comparison.

1) The blue one is 2.0 default.
2) The grey one is 2.1 default.

I would like to add the "Started by", "Replies", "Views" and "Most Recent". Please tell me it's a setting or plug-in available in 2.0. There doesn't seem to be the same options in the Dashboard.

    2.1 uses tables 2.0 uses divs, a much different structure. There are many custom themes out there so as to make it less simplistic. I know what you mean , my themes are anything but simplistic, but everyone has a different taste. I suggest you pick a theme and customize it to your liking.

    that is because Vanilla 2.1 is Vanilla 2.0 on steroids

    try my plugin, it ma work for you. You may need to play with css to work with your theme,

    @phreak 2.1 uses tables in the table view.

    Don't worry, you can use the regular vanilla layout in 2.1 :D
