removing utility/update

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

hi i encounter problem when running /utility/update/ my server crashes, so what i would like to do is remove it to avoid other people accidentally using the URL or anyone savvy enough on using it. any help?

    You could block it via a not found route.

    I was able to block it with:
    Route: utility/update
    Target: Default404
    Type: Not Found (404)

    Of course when your server crashes, you write down the Vanilla version and prepare to test the same crash once 2.1 or 2.2 goes Beta. You have the logs of the crash, right? For the bug report?

    as far as i know /utility/update requires you to be logged in as the root admin for the forum
