i would like to make community website with news section where users could submit news + community forum... which CMS should i use?
I really like vanilla forums ... but i dont know how to make the news section ...
i was also thinking about wordpress+bbpress+buddypress ... but i am not sure about forum features...
what do you think? is there any other choice? what shoud i do? i have knownledge of html and css

People seem to like the WP + Vanilla combination. I, personally, use a Vanilla plugin that creates a blog view for some of my categories. Then I only have to worry about one theme and one set of users.
